About John Finneran

Based in Connecticut, John Finneran has extensive experience in global marketing and sales strategies and has been a consultant with diverse startups over the past dozen years. Among John Finneran’s accomplishments in Connecticut was setting in place annual financial and marketing plans, and he has also informed strategic sales and pricing approaches.

Mr. Finneran began his career in the early 1980s as a sales representative with Westpoint Pepperell, Inc., where he was successful in promoting textile brands in both European and Asian markets. He subsequently accepted a position with the Unilever subsidiary Chesebrough-Pond as a field sales manager. Joining the team after a year of significant sales declines, he boosted annual sales by 18 percent.

In the late 1980s, Mr. Finneran held a position with the Unilever subsidiary Lever Brothers Company as a marketing manager. In this role, he successfully guided geographically diverse marketing initiatives while developing long-term retailer promotion relationships with major partners such as Safeway, Walmart, and Kmart.
